Moodjarl Aboriginal Corporation run Cultural awareness training and truth-telling presentations about Aboriginal culture, ancient traditions, and the history of the Whadjuk people in the Perth region.

Presentations can be adapted to meet the specific goal and individual needs of the client, audience, or theme of the event.
With such a wealth of knowledge, Kerry-Ann recommends a multi-part Cultural Immersion which allows participants to build on their knowledge and understanding of Culture in steps.

The first part of the training involves joining one of the Cultural Tours and walking on Country with Traditional Owners.

It is important to portray the significance of place, land and how the Nyungar people traditionally cared for Country.

The following training sessions build on information learnt and can be tailored to specific interests learnt while on tour.

Kerry-Ann suggests a multi-part Cultural Immersion program to deepen participants' knowledge and understanding of the culture gradually.

The initial phase involves joining a Cultural Tour and walking on Country with Traditional Owners, emphasizing the importance of place, land, and the traditional care for Country by the Nyungar people.

Then training sessions can be included which expand on the acquired knowledge and can be tailored to specific interests identified during the tour.

NYUNGAR LANGUAGE TRANSLATIONS
Language translation between English and Nyungar can be useful for a variety of purposes such as dual naming areas or signs, government projects, corporate activities, books, educational purposes, and interpretive ventures.

It is important to note that the different Cultural groups throughout Australia each have individual names and spellings for certain words, so ensure that any translations are suitable for the project’s required needs.

Nyungar Tours also contributes to the design and delivery of authentic Aboriginal products and displays for events, galleries, museums and functions and the guides are always happy to have a yarn about any further questions or requests.
